I am thrilled to announce that I have been awarded a prestigious fellowship to conduct postdoctoral research in Australia and the USA! My project will explore the role of nutrition in shaping individual and group behaviors in invasive ant species.
**Proposed Research Project:** **Role of Nutrition in Determining Individual and Group Patterns of Behavior: Does Access to Carbohydrate Resources Enhance the Establishment and Competitive Ability of Invasive Ant Species?** In this research, we will compare the effects of four different diets on various invasive ant species against a common native Australian ant species, the yellow tyrant ant (*Iridomyrmex pallidus*), which frequently interacts with these invasive species. I am excited about the opportunity to delve into these questions and contribute to our understanding of how nutritional factors can influence the success of invasive species. |
