My research focuses mainly on the study of population and community dynamics and structure, with a particular emphasis on species interactions, such as those involved in invasive population dynamics. An integrative approach is used, combining field sampling, experimental and behavioral tests in the laboratory, and chemical ecology studies through the concept of chemical signatures. My studies mainly concern insect societies (with a focus on invasive ants, termites, or hornets) by examining a wide spectrum of biotic interactions (competition, dispersal, aggression) and their role in the dynamics of ecological systems.
